History

Purposeful Life Counseling, LLC opened in August 2018. Serving the East Valley and surrounding areas of Phoenix including Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Scottsdale and Tempe. Our office provides appointment times to assist with the working individual or student seeking after work hours to include weekend and telepsych sessions.

Currently offered Telepsych session as for those that are not able to be in office. Insurance might not cover telehealth please check with your insurance policy. Please keep in mind that therapist will need to screen clients prior to this options.

Vanessa Blanch, MS, LPC

Owner/CEO/Clinical Director

Vanessa Blanch has over 17 years of behavioral health experience in providing residential and acute therapy, group therapy, experiential therapy and outpatient therapy for adolescents through adults. She began Purposeful Life Counseling to provide quailty mental health to the comnunity and also provides telehealth, in person and VIP services when requested.

She is passionate about helping clients with use of client- centered therapy and solution-focused therapy assisting individuals and families to mange and self regulate emotions, thoughts and behaviors. This is accomplished by applying the skills and knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma based therapy.Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through Arizona Trauma Institute.

Vanessa’s specialty is to provide her clients with a supportive, compassionate therapeutic relationship to facilitate healing and growth. Her approach to counseling is collaborative with the client and honoring the unique needs of each individual to create a customized plan inclusive of other providers. She works with diverse mental health backgrounds and has expereince with high profile clients, athletes and first responders.

Felicia Mongold, LAC

Felicia Mongold is an Arizona State Licensed Associate Counselor pursuing clinical hours for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Felicia graduated with distinction from the University of Phoenix’s Master’s program in Clinical Mental Health in 2022. 

Felicia’s specialty is to provide an empathetic, non-judgmental, and safe environment for individuals to discuss areas of concern that are affecting their lives. She is passionate about helping clients with a client-centered approach to therapy to improve quality of life, as well as facilitate healing and growth. This is achieved by applying the skills and knowledge of Choice Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). 

She works with a wide range of diagnosis and behavioral challenges and incorporates evidenced based techniques geared toward positive growth and development. Some of the techniques Felicia uses in session are geared toward educating and providing the client tools to use both short- and long-term. Her approach to counseling is a collaborative process that promotes client involvement in the process, while also respecting the unique needs of each individual.

Now Hiring! Purposeful Life Counseling is a private practice counseling office located in Chandler, AZ. We treat individuals, families, and couples with mental health concerns. We work with some private insurance providers.

We are looking for associate and independent level counselor/therapist (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LAMFT, Psychologist) to join our team as an Independent Contractor. As a therapist, you will be responsible for conducting psychotherapy, preparing mental health plan assessments, progress notes, developing treatment plans and completing all mandated reports. Marketing, Claims filing, and EHR support will be provided.

Supervision with an AZBBHE Approved Supervisor

Purposeful Life Counseling provides or offers services:

·        Contract-Based (1099) Employment

·        Flexible Schedule (must be willing to see minimum 20 clients per week, must be willing to set a schedule)
